20 October 2008- UMNO Auckland Club had their Farewell Dinner to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work of the club’s committee members that had contributed tremendously in making year 2008 a success. The dinner was held at Fortuna Restaurant, located at Sky Tower, Auckland.
Mr. Mohd Ridhwan Mohd Ali, UMNO Auckland President expressed his gratitude to all committee members that had worked hard with him to run the club smoothly. He was astonished and proud of the committee members as they had given their full commitment towards the club. All the experienced gained this year are valuable.
He also congratulated and wished the very best to the committee members who will be finishing their studies at the end of this year and leaving UMNO Auckland to return to Malaysia for good.
All the memorable events and activities done together throughout 2008 will remain fresh in our minds. This will be UMNO Auckland’s last event before all of us start preparing for the examinations that will start on the 1st of November 2008. Good luck to all.
