    UMNO AUCKLAND ORIENTATION DAY

UMNO Auckland Club successfully held an Orientation Day on the 21st of March 2009 at the Te Taou Reserve, Auckland.

The objective of the event was to welcome new members besides thanking returning members for their loyalty. The event was also held to allow a close relationship to be formed between members alongside fun activities and free food.

The committee’s members of UMNO Auckland 2008/2009 were introduced to the members. UMNO Auckland also took the opportunity to introduce the club’s objective and upcoming events after Orientation Day.

Ice breaking games were conducted while waiting for the BBQ to be ready. The participants were grouped randomly depending on the colour they were assigned during the registration session. Two games took place: 5 cent & 10 cent, “Group Osom”.

We hope this will be an exciting year and the success of the Orientation Day was certainly a good start for UMNO Auckland Club.
